We’ve been Nebraska Book Company for over a century, evolving and adapting to meet an ever-changing industry while always dedicated to providing world class customer experience and exceptional quality inventory. Back in 1915, people didn’t use the word “startup,” but that’s what we were – the first to warehouse and distribute used textbooks to college bookstores to supply the academic community around them.

That’s what we still are: a partner to the independent college bookstore and a startup in the sense that we have fresh ideas, a cohesive and collaborative team, and pure grit to get things done. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and how much we still matter in today’s competitive market. We believe now, as we did then, that a college campus benefits when its bookstore is independently run.

That was, is, and always will be – Nebraska Book Company.
